Awarded a coveted 3 stars in the 2021 Great Taste Awards, our Hot Smoked Organic Orkney Salmon comes packaged in a cardboard sleeve which contains a generous portion (minimum weight 160g) of seriously tasty, moist and ready to eat salmon.
Healthy, tasty and farm-raised exclusively in Orkney, the organic salmon (certified at every stage by the Soil Association) are nurtured in low density fish cages, surrounded by the cold, fast-flowing seawater from the north Atlantic ocean, which provides the perfect conditions for the salmon to become firm and muscular.
Ian uses his tried and tested brine recipe and hot smoking skills to showcase this quality, premium ingredient and which prompted some serious praise from the Great Taste judges:-
